My Man!

Ok so I have 2 things to blog about. First, which was actually a month ago, we went HORSEBACK RIDING! It was so totally awesome! We went with our friends, B.J. and Denelle Miner. Thanks Denelle! It was the funnest DATE that we have had in like forever! We got a babysitter...well we had a free one cause a family that Mike did a little electrical help for offered to watch our kids! It was totally awesome! I feel like He woman! Because I actually ran the horse! 3X! Scariest and thrillingest thing of my life! LOVED IT!

Here is My Man on his horse! I totally loved seeing him in such a masculine setting! He was so great with the horses knowing what to do and getting it done and telling me how to do it. He grew up riding horses to heard cows so he had a lot of know how.
Poor Denelle fell off her horse. It was probably my fault because we kept trading back and forth our horses and when I traded I lengthened the stirups on hers and when we traded back they were too long for her so she couldn't get a good foot hold. We all felt bad, but she was tough and didn't even cry...like I would have. lol

So the other thing that I wanted to blog about was how wonderful Mike is! So I wanted to take pictures for Mike's sister and her fiance and they were coming over. I went to the gym and when I got back Mike had cleaned the entire house for me and was out in the yard mowing (with a push mower mind you), edging it and making the yard as nice as possible for the pictures to be taken!!!
And as if that wasn't enough, after they got there and we had taken the first set of pictures we came in and found that he had done this! Appetizers (Jalapino parmesan cheese dip), ice water, and juice! all in our fancies the way I like it!!! Ohh what a man! It should come as no surprise to anyone that this man's love language is service! I am so appreciative of all that he does for me, especially the little things. The thoughtful things like using the nice dishes because he know that I like that. Well, just had to praise him like I should!

July 4th

Happy Fourth of July everyone! I hope that yours was as much fun as ours! We went to Emery county to see Mike's family and friends. We saw his parents, brother and friends. It was so much fun! We went to the Huntington Parade in the morning and I think that it was the best parade I have been too. Granted we didn't get a lot of candy, but it wasn't crowded and that was what made it nice in my opinion.

Here is Mike and Tsadakah waiting for the beginning to start. As you can see she is so excited! I think that this picture is adorable. Totally precious!

Here she is saying "You hear that?"when the band was headed down the street. Mike and I hadn't been to Huntington for the 4th since we were talking about getting married 5 years ago. I can still clearly remember this parade at that time. We constantly were sharing memories and remembering old times. lol

I took like a thousand pictures of Eliannah and everytime that I did she would move right at the last moment and so this was the best one. She was of course adorable and loved the freedom! She was running all over and had no reservations about striking out on her own. We really had to watch her. lol Mike was a stinker and wouldn't wear the patriotic clothes that I packed for him.
Tsadakah comparing candy amounts with Mason, her cousin's cousin.

Ok this was the best part, so I had been holding Eliannah while trying to tell Tsadakah how things worked. Sayde kept running over to the other group of kids because that was the first place to get candy thrown to them, but by the time she got to them it would be gone, then she would run back and by that time all the candy that had been thrown to our group was gone too. lol So while I am trying to instruct her, Eliannah wiggles out of my arms. So I finish helping Tsadakah get some and turn around to get Ellie and what do I find?

Eliannah had independantly gotten 2 pieces of candy all my herself!!! HA HA! I couldn't believe it! She is so FUN!

Here is Jaxton who help yelling to the floats "I want Candy!" ha ha! At the beginning the fire trucks had driven by WITHOUT throwing candy and he just started balling! So funny!

We stayed with Mike's brother, Devin and his wife , Becky who just had a precious baby boy! Her sister Cindy and husband Mark were also staying the weekend. Left to Right: Mark, Kyler, Cindy, Mason, Jaxton, Becky, Xander, and Cole.

So after the parade we went to the wave pool and Mike got a tube and he took Tsadakah out. I watched as he put her on his lap and caught a great wave (they had them on pretty high) and the wave totally dumped them out of their tube! Then 2 waves washed over her before she was saved. She didn't comeout crying, brave lil' soul, but she didn't go back in the water the rest of the time. She wasn't the only casualty tho. Mike also headbutted a stranger to the point where he saw stars and got a MAJOR goose egg! Then Devin gave a kid a bloody nose! lol

Then that night we lit fire works in the street...another misshap! The first thing that we lit was sparklers. Here is Tsadakah with hers, then 2 seconds after the picture was taken, she got the sparker dangerously close to her hair so I said, "Tsadakah don't get it so close to your hair!" What does she do? She puts it right in her hair!!! I practically attacked her trying to keep it from lighting her hair a blaze! She totally singed her bangs! They had that burnt hair smell! she was crying and ended up going to bed for the night! Mike and I ended up snuggling and watching the fun kidless since Eliannah had already gone to bed too!
All in all it was a BLAST of a day!

Two weekends ago we went to Mike's family reunion. Here are the pictures of that event. We went to a park first where we had a BBQ, which was wonderful! They had even planned a craft activity for the kiddies. Here is Tsadakah making her hsunvizer. They turned out so cute!

This is my sister in law Becky and brother in law Cesar.

Here is MIke with his nephew Tyrel. They had fun catching up. The plan was to hike Adams Canyon after the reunion but we all got rained out, so we went to Mike's sister's house to hang out. The kids found a way to entertain themselves. Here they are riding the oldest cousin, Coy, down the stairs. That is where it started but then they all started going down by themselves upside down an backwards! Fun was had by all...with very few casualties. lol

Tsadakah was not brave enough to go down in a crzy way. Here she is going down the usual way...on her bottom!

Lost time

It has been so long since I have updated this that there is so much to tell! We went to the Zoo as you can see here. It was a lot of fun! With Tsadakah being old enough to really get into it, we really enjoyed ourselves.

We tried to keep the kids in here but they were always jumping out! lol Aren't they beautiful!

We all got a chance to see our favorite animals...well sort of. My favorite was the giraffes. I think that they are so lovely and graceful. They remind me of ballet dancers. They, in my opinion, are classy animals. I took like a thousand pictures of them, and then rolled my eyes when Mike insisted on taking pictures of the big turtle. lol I am such a brat! Tsadakah's favorite animal was the lion. She talked about it before we even got to the zoo, but we never saw any of the cats because it was so hot and they were hiding in their shady places sleeping.

This is Mike and Sayde looking at the Elephants. I think that she was pretty awwed by the size of it. It was so fun to see her light up about the real things!

This is her being funny. Like mother like daughter. I used to dress up all the time and here she is with her swim suit and my hills on. She is so funny!

Ok so I was doing my spring cleaning and getting rid of stuff. The house was a mess with junk lying over everything. Tsadakah found my sticker collection and strarted putting them on Eliannahs hair. I thought that was so funny!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE my camera. I think that this picture of her going down the slide is so perfect! Her hair flowing in the wind and the fun of the whole scene!

Here is Eliannah one her first time down the slide all by herself! What a big girl she is becoming!

Swim Lessons and the Like

Tsadakah is so in love with these pajamas! They Are her favorite thing to wear and she wants to wear them all day long...good thing I don't let her. lol

Sorry, Another messy face picture, but I love it. ha ha. This was a no bake oreo pie. Yummy! Better worn than eaten I guess.

Sayde loves to blow bubbles and I love to watch her. The weather has been so wonderful it has been nice to get outside!

Ok I am finally getting around to posting her swim lessons pix. It was like a month ago. lol
So last year we did the mommy and me swim class and she totally excelled...this year...not so much! lol Here she is running away from the instructor. Ha ha. Look at those other little girls staring at her like, "what are you doing?"

She started the first day fine, and then after that, I don't know what happened! The second day she cried and wanted me and screamed through the entire lesson. It was so wierd to me because she has ALWAYS been so independant!

That continued every day for two weeks. Finally in the end I brought a long sleeved shirt and that helped, but she still wasn't as cooperative as the others in her class. *sigh

Here she is practicing the back stroke. This instructor was really amazing! She was the best at getting Sayde to do things.

This is my new friend Brittany. Her son Diesel was in the class with Tsadakah. She was amazing to help me out whenever I need to take care of Sayde she would hold Eliannah. She is awesome! Thanks, Brittany!

THis is one of my favorites because it was so candid. I came over to take the pic and she was so excited to see me cause she thought that I was going to play with her and her little friends.

Happy Birthday Ellie-Bellie

OUr Little Eliannah HaD a BiRthDay! I cannot believe that she is already a year. Time has flown by. A lot of my friends/family are pregnant and having babies right now and I feel like I was just there. She is almost walking! She took her first step on April 5th, but so far no real walking.

We played some silly games. The theme of the party was little Lavendar Baby Elephants, so the kids had to tie their arms together like a trunk and keep the balloons from hitting the ground! Fun was had by all!

Another game that we played was that they had to blow bubbles...with their nose! LoL. It was so much fun! Even the parents had fun laughing at this one! Whoever blew the most bubbles won. This was def. a fav. We played it the most cause everyone wanted to play!

I made 3 cakes for this shin-dig! Eliannah, of course got her own. Within 2 seconds the nieces stuffed her hands in it. She really liked squishing it, but never took a single nibble of it!

This is what it looked like before. Mike made marinated chicken for all. It was SOOOOOO good! He is the best man on the grill!

Beautiful dresses on beautiful girls!

I loved these dresses as soon as I saw them! They are totally gorgeous in my opinion.

You might not be able to tell but, Sayde's dress is ripped at the bottom. We went straight to church and back and in the short 2 hours that she was in nursery she ripped it in 3 places! I was very dissapointed! I should have thought about that when I was perchasing it. I have a very rambunctious little girl so I should have chosen a more durrable dress. She is still such a beauty!!
