Mike's birthday was yesterday. Him and I are so different when it comes to what we expect on our big day. lol I want surprises and to be treated like the princess all day, he wants to pick out his own gift a month in advance, and just have dinner. So that is what we did. We got his gift, a gas grill, like a month ago. It has been enjoyable! Then I made him the dinner of his choice, shrimp scampi, and the rest of the night we hung out at his brother's while he played PS3. That is where I took this video of our daughter, Tsadakah! Everything has been really casual! As long as he is happy!

We celebrated Tsadakah's second birthday! She is such a big girl. We had a simple BBQ with Mike's brother, Devin and his wife, Becky, and their son, Jaxton.
She got a kitchen cart, a Barbie DVD, and new shoes. The first picture is her blowing out her candles. It took a lot of coaching to get her to do it. The second picture is of her being too eager to "dig in." We turned our backs to get the knife and she licked the cake. lol. It was pretty funny. That was her piece!
The last picture is of her wearing her older cousin, Bobbie's, coat. She just got so excited about it. I love those cheesy, excited smiles.
The other picture is just me and my girls. I love being a mommy! Mother's day was so fun too. At church I loved watching the kids go up to the stand to sing to all the mothers. I can't wait till Sayde is old enough. I held her on my lap and pointed out that the kids were singing. She recognized one of the songs that I sing to her and when they finished she stood up and appauded. It was so funny to me! I had to laugh through my tears. I LOVE my girls. I can't wait to play dress up and tea parties and read them stories about princesses. I guess God knew what He was doing when He sent me girls instead of boys. Now I can't even imagine being a boy mom!
