Happy Birthday Eliannah!

Eliannah is now 3! She is so darling! I am glad that she is over the terrible 2's! We had a small party at my parents house after Passover. She was such a good girl about having to wait. She is my best sharer! My friend Yvonne came with her family to the Passover and she brought Ellie this adorable Fancy Nancy crown! She loved wearing it and went around saying she was the Queen! (Forget the princess, she was the Queen!)
She really was pretty spoiled! My mom and dad got her outdoor toys for the sprinklers and sandbox, my sister got her a coloring book and pocket puppoes. (Ellie loves anything that is "SO little") And we got her Sleeping beauty doll.
She really loved this doll! She just kept staring at it and saying, "she's so beautiful!" She LOVES the fact that the shoes come off and she went around telling everyone that they were not allowed to take off her doll's shoes.
The biggest thing that my kids have looked forward to is therir cakes. Every morning for a month they have been looking at the cakes in all my cookbooks first thing when they woke up! lol
Eliannah said that she wanted this exact cake (the purple didn't turn out right) and that she wanted it to say, "Dreams Come True" instead of Happy Birthday. :)

She tried to blow out her candles 4 times and she couldn't get the right angle so Mike helped her!

LOOK at that Happy face! I hope that she felt so loved and happy on her special day!

We also got her a bike. Tsadakah doesn't even have one yet! It is all princessy and it has a seat in the back for her to put her doll in and give it rides! It was the perfect thing to go with her doll.

Her favorite part of the bike was the bell. *it also has a basket on front and streamers on the handles!

Ok so all this picture documents is that I need practice in my cake decorating AND my photography. lol, but I made it just the way that she wanted it and THAT is what makes it special to me.

I also wanted to talk about my favorite things about her:

1. She hops on one leg when she is really excited about something.

2. She is my snuggler and my mommy's girl.

3. She can make you forget that you are mad at her because she laughs in such a saucy way.

4. She can turn my day from grey to colorful.

5. The way that she plays with her older sister and follows her around, its cute.

6. The way she pouts when I have been to stern with her.

7. The way that her little body feels all curled in a ball when she slips into my bed in the middle of the night.

8. Her laughter.

9. Her slight lisp, or the way that she says things wrong sometimes.

10. The fact that she is my PINK PRINCeSS!!

Gone Shoot'n

So a few months ago we had a "creapy" incident in which Mike felt we better get a gun. My stipulation was that I wanted to learn how to use it properly. I don't want to be afraid of it, which come to find out, I am! When he first brought it home I practically hyperventallated. This kind of life style is so forign to me!
We tried really hard to get a picture of the shot. This one is of before...

...And after, see the smoke! Pretty good.
I don't think that any of these pictures are very flattering of me, and these were the best ones! But I just had to post this one because I think that the backfire from the gun and my reaction are just hillarious! I mean come on you can see that I am clearly not comfortable with it. lol.

THis is me trying to look tough.

Mike's brother, Devin and his family went with us. It was fun! It was all new for me and I love doing new things. Posted by Picasa

Dr. Suess Day

So I love reading to my kids and I read all types of books to them. I swear that my biggest temptation to buy is a good read! I can pass the toys isle, clothing department, and/or candy with my kids crying and begging and I am firm with my no, but I can't help but spend half my Christmas budget on books.

Anyways, I have a lot of the younger Dr. Suess books memorized from reading them to my kids. (It has come to the point where I have to read them in different styles like rapper, or elvis just to keep myself from speeding through it.) So I talked my family into doing a party which included dressing up (my all-time fav!) and doing readings of the books. It was SOSO fun!

We even had themed food.

Simcah and her family all dressed up.

My family all dressed up! Mike was surprisingly into this! He read Oh The Thinks You Can Think, Tsadakah read The Grinch Stole Christmas, Eliannah read One Fish..., and I read The Cat In The Hat. It was so fun and almost everyone participated.

Group Shot!

My Fun and Wacky brother-in-law, Chris.

My dad, as the man in Mulberry Street. Pretty close eh?

And my mom was the star. She stole the show with her perfect costume! She put so much work into the costume! She wanted to act just like her character, the dog in Green Eggs And Ham.
