Resquested Dinner

November 11, i told Tsadakah that if she did something (I can't remember what it is now) that I would make her whatever she wanted. I expected her to ask for a dessert, but she wanted a Macaroni & Cheese Pie. Well a promise is a promise. She was specific and said that she wanted it "striped" like the one Snow White makes.

 

So here it is, the Lattice Macaroni & Cheese Pie.

 

It was fun to make and I had high hopes, but in all honesty, it was dry and (as my dad would call it) "sticky-in-the-mouth.

But she loved it! She was so excited and grateful for it that she made my bed as a thank you. She is a sweetheart!
