Easter...late.

Happy Easter

Ok so Mike's professor gave him thursday night off and he already had good friday off from work so at the very last minute we decided to go to St George for the weekend and celebrate Easter and Moriella's birthday with my sister Simcah. We had a total blast!

On friday we went on a hike to this little waterfall. It was colder than I thought St George should be at this time of year so we were cold!

Sayde and Moriella loved the water. They were in it for a long time. The funny part was the more that Sayde's pants got wet the heavier they were. They kept getting lower and lower. She had a major plummer's crack!

I love the way that this picture turned out. Moriella is in focus and we aren't. This is her daddy, Chris, and her little brother Asher.

Here is our family photo. It was the best of the bunch even though Eliannah isn't looking.

Then we went out to Chinese food at this really great place! I love Chinese! The next morning Mike and Chris went on a bike ride which Mike absolutely loved! They said that it was the perfect weather even though it was about to rain because it would have been too hot otherwise.

Meanwhile, Simcah and I Made deviled eggs and got all 5 kids ready for the easter egg hunt. We were so crazy and frantic that we forgot the coats. Luckily we were able to get in the easter egg hunt before it started to down pour!!

The kids were freezing and so were we, so we drove back to her house to get jackets and we were planning to go back and eat the potluck but....by the time that we got back it was raining so hard that the food was all wet! ha ha. Simcah grabbed us a plate full, but when we got it home to eat it, it was pretty unappetizing! we made breakfast burritos instead.
Later we went to the swimming pool where Mike got to climb the rock wall. It was so fun! I wish that I had taken a picture of that.
We drove home all night so that we could be home for Easter. I hadn't bought the s6tuff for easter baskets but I thought that I could get candy 50% off at the after easter sales and we could do it a couple days late since I was too tierd to get some Saturday night. Well there was no candy on sale! So anyway, Easter was more of a spiritual day. I didn't get pictures of the girls in their dresses yet because they were crabby after church. Maybe next blog! lol
