Wilberg Family Reunion

August 10 was the first day of The Wilberg Family Reunion. Lisa and Lina planned a great bunch of activities for us and we loved them. First, early in the morning was a 5k walk/run. Put on by ourselves for free. Mike was warming up.

 The kids practiced racing.
While we waited for everyone to arrive.
When it was over the kids played on this awesome tree. Isn't it just perfect for climbing?!
Kayzli is so cute! And Becky always has her in the cutest stuff made herself from Pinterest. I better dress my boy as good as she dresses her girl for all my longing! ;)
 Carol, Stef, and Jonathan.
After the run, we had a continental style breakfast. Then we had a meeting where each sibling talked about their memories of their mother so that the in laws and grand kids could get to know her personality a little better. It was so neat to learn about her. She was a great woman. Here is Michael sharing his  thoughts, which were her good cooking: spaghetti, pizza with canned green beans, and enchiladas.
Then his dad, George, talked about his life. He shared his stories of army life and pictures and metals he received. It is so crazy to me to think that he knew people who died.

Then we did the OLYMPICS. Super fun activities starting with each team making a flag.
First was the Kiddie Olympics. They did a sack race. Eliannah didn't want to participate at first and she didn't want to get into that bag, but once I made her she thought it was really fun.

This is how MiKaylah felt about not getting to participate. This darling little face was there waiting at the finish line. Guess she was old enough to know she was being left out. Poor La La!

 Seriously, breaks your heart!
The next event was like a shot put. They used LARGE marshmallows to throw as far as they could. MiKaylah did get one of those, and she ate it. lol.

This is Amila right after throwing hers. Tsadakah wasn't able to throw hers very far and Jaxton was teaching her. It was pretty darn cute.
 Eliannah prepping for her throw.
The next event was a roll down the hill. MiKaylah is so happy to be involved now!
 And they're off!
For the adult events we did a wheelbarrow race.

The javelin, with a pool noodle.
A 3-legged race. And a relay of volley ball, basketball, and jump roping.

Tsadakah is getting to an age where she really wants to play with babies. It is so cute! She has been so patient with me waiting for "her baby brother, Malachi." We all hope that is insight. ;)

MiKaylahhas such a cute fun personality.
And sometimes she is a stinker. Here she is doing Max's hair. He was a trooper and endured all her wetting and scrunching. Who can blame her though, I'd love to touch those cute curls too! Even Kayzli was obsessed with them.

Then she finished it off by dumping the cup of water right on his head. That is the stinker part. Poor little guy! Sorry!
Lisa got these incredible metals from a High school and spray painted them. SO COOL! Our team.
The kids: What cuties!

It was a super fun day!
